The OakPoint Program for Behavioral Services

OakPoint offers a broad spectrum inpatient program to meet the behavioral health care needs of the Upper Cumberland.

OakPoint is a mental health treatment program providing inpatient diagnostic and treatment services for persons 55 years of age and older. Program components include individualized assessments and treatment planning, therapeutic daily activities, and comprehensive discharge planning. 

Livingston Regional Hospital is committed to supporting the community by offering a broad range of health care services. The OakPoint program at Livingston Regional Hospital is an important part of that community support. OakPoint is available 24 hours a day to assist older adults and their families. 

Warning signs that may indicate the need for treatment include:

  • Disorientation
  • Depression
  • Severe memory loss
  • Hallucinations
  • Increased social withdrawal
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Extreme fluctuations in weight
  • Loss of interest in appearance
