The OakPoint program at Livingston Regional Hospital is an important part of that community support. OakPoint is available 24 hours a day to assist older adults and their families.

 
 

The OakPoint Program for Behavioral Services

OakPoint offers a broad spectrum, inpatient program to meet the behavioral healthcare needs of the Upper Cumberland.

OakPoint is a mental health treatment program providing inpatient diagnostic and treatment services for persons 55 years of age and older. Program components include individualized assessments and treatment planning, therapeutic daily activities, and comprehensive discharge planning.

 
 

Warning Signs That May Indicate Need for Treatment

  • Disorientation
  • Depression
  • Severe memory loss
  • Hallucinations
  • Increased social withdrawal
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Extreme fluctuations in weight
  • Loss of interest in appearance
 
 

Patient Visitation Information

Oakpoint’s visitation time is 9-10 a.m. and 6-7 p.m. Visitors must be 12 years of age or older to be allowed in the unit.
