Goal of Rehab

Our goal is to help patients enjoy an active life with family and friends as quickly as possible. Our dedicated team of rehabilitative specialists, working closely with each patient and their family, will design a highly individualized treatment plan that is directed towards independence, not limitations. Our patients will work hard, but the effort will be worth it. We keep our patients focused on their recovery goals.
 

Who Needs Rehab?

The events that bring patients to us change their lives forever. We work closely with every patient to help them regain all that they can to resume functional daily living.

Rehabilitation may benefit persons who demonstrate the following:

• Difficulty bathing, grooming, or dressing themselves
• Problems with home management issues (meal preparation, money management, safety, and organizing daily tasks)
• Difficulty getting out of bed, maintaining balance, and/or walking
• Weakness and/or stiffness during upper or lower body movement
• Speech and communication problems
• Swallowing disorders

These functional difficulties may be the result of:

• Stroke
• Orthopaedic conditions (hip fractures, arthritis, amputations, joint replacements)
• Major multiple trauma
• Neurological disorders (multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, muscular dystrophy)
• Spinal cord injury
